Hallo,
nach langer Zeit schreibe ich mal wieder was. Habe mein Passwort verlegt

Also generell ein neues(Neuentwicklung).

A further developed version of my TriplePlay2-Projekt.
Because in the TriplePlay2-projekt are 12V at the outputs, I have mainly
reworked the circuitry.
Now there is a translation between the RS232-logic (+12V/-12V) and the TTL-logic
(+5V/0V) with the circuit MAX238.
So this projekt is real SAVE for the connected standard MIDI-hardware (with IN
-THRU - OUT) AND for MIDI-hardware that have no optocouplers at the IN , only
TTL-input, like the DB-50XG-wavetable-card from YAMAHA (that are no
stand-alone-devices, like wavetablecards for the use as daughterboards with
PC-soundcards - for AMIGA always hardware-hacks).
The TriplePlay MIDI-Interface allowes to use up to 48 MIDI-channels with
Bars&Pipes.
Here is exactly explained how to build this MIDI-Interface.
It comes with:
-PCB as #?.gif-, and postscript-file.
-a #?.gif-file that showes the components
-a #?.gif-file that showes the circuitry-plan
-a guide-file with explaination
-the three Triple-Play-Tools for use with Bars&Pipes
Ver. 3.1 only a little Addenum and rework of the files
MIDI interface V2.0 general information, 12 March 1992, Espoo Finland
This documentation describes an implementation of a MIDI interface for the
Amiga 2000.
It was created by me, Antti Ketola, a student of Helsinki
University of Technology. I now set these documents in public use, that
is, free copying and distribution is allowed.
The circuit is assumed to be functional, however, neither guarantee is given
nor responsibilty is taken.
Any comments (before 1994) to s33996f at puukko.hut.fi. Job offers welcome.
This package should include following files:
-MIDI2.geninfo this general information and copyright note.
-MIDI2.pic.320 includes the drawing of the circuit in iff format 320x256
-MIDI2.cons.320 includes the drawings of the connectors in iff format 320x256
-MIDI2.desc a description
They all are packed to Midi.lhz with the Lharc-1.30 .
