Netpbm is a toolkit for manipulation of graphic images, including conversion of images between a variety of different formats. There are over 270 separate tools in the package including converters for about 100 graphics formats. F Tools is a collection of SWF manipulation and generation utilities, Included are:

PDF2SWF A PDF to SWF Converter. Generates one frame per page. Enables you to have fully formatted text, including tables, formulas etc. inside your Flash Movie.

SWFCombine A tool for inserting SWFs into Wrapper SWFs. (Templates) E.g. for including the pdf2swf SWFs in some sort of Browsing-SWF.

SWFStrings Scans SWFs for text data.

SWFDump Prints out various informations about SWFs.

JPEG2SWF Takes one or more JPEG pictures and generates a SWF slideshow.

PNG2SWF Like JPEG2SWF, only for PNGs.

WAV2SWF Converts WAV audio files to SWFs with MP3 Streams, using the L.A.M.E. MP3 encoder.

AVI2SWF Converts AVI animation files to SWF. It supports Flash MX H.263 compression. Font2SWF Converts font files (TTF, Type1) to SWF.

SWFBBox Allows to readjust SWF bounding boxes.

SWFC A tool for creating SWF files from simple script files.

SWFExtract Allows to extract Movieclips, Sounds, Images etc. from SWF files.

Gerade die Leistungsfähigkeit des NetPBM-Paketes wird vielen älteren Amiganern bekannt sein. Ach ja ... die Grafikverarbeitung von ImageKick (http://amiga.sourceforge.net/?showpackage=ImageMagick) ist sicherlich auch noch einen Blick wert.

Update der xml2.library auf Version 4.0
Die nun in der Version 4.0 vorliegende xml2.library ermöglicht das Lesen, Bearbeiten und Schreiben von XML- und HTML-Dateien.

Die DTD-Unterstützung beinhaltet die Analyse und Validierung auch komplexer DTDs, entweder während des Parse-Vorgangs oder später nach Modifikation des Dokuments. Die Ausgabe kann als einfacher SAX-Stream oder DOM-ähnliche Repräsentation im Speicher erfolgen. In letzterem Falle kann die eingebaute XPath- und XPointer-Implementation genutzt werden, um Subnodes oder Ranges auszuwählen. Ein flexibler Ein-/Ausgabemechanismus is verfügbar, mit vorhandenen HTTP- und FTP-Modulen und kombiniert in einer URI-Bibliothek.

Die wesentlichen Änderungen gegenüber der Vorgängerversion:
Benötigte Systembibliotheken auf V36 geändert
Neue Bibliothek erstellt, die nicht libiconv benötigt, was sie viel kleiner macht und somit weniger Speicher beansprucht (bei Programmen, die keine speziellen Kodierungen benötigen)
Fehlerbereinigte protos und inlines für callback-Funktionstypen, die falsch erzeugt wurden
Erstellung eines libxml2.a-Klons (der das Portieren bestehender Quellkodes sehr vereinfacht)
Vorliegen der Funktionsbeschreibung nun auch im AutoDoc-Format, welche auch auf der Amiga Developer Help Site verfügbar ist
